TY "Awkward" was released last Monday the album launch party was last Thursday in London at Scratch (which has an open ear when it comes to the beats) I was really feelin' TY - (I'm not even sure I like that word) imho: TY is closer to the centre than most any other big dada releases- TY sings & his live set broke into some very old familiar soul, he was dope rhyming some story about pulling a girl & wacked right into marvin gayes 'let's get it on'. large, but you had to be there.....very soleful & almost on key. his sidekick breeze helped put the wackiness back in.... will have to check out this Mr Dead - the pranksters are definitely coming back into rap, so I might just have to start shopping again. nH At 6:57 am -0500 5/2/01, Jason J.
